Last night Miro and I headed to Usti Nad Labem while Isaiah stayed home with Ivanka and her dog Ben. We enjoyed some great Vietnamese soup that we had been missing and then went to hear Karel Plihal in concert. We were introduced to his music through the library cd collection. It was a night of songs and many jokes and poems. Even though I don't understand the words I love the music and it was wonderful to see Czech people laughing together so heartily. Here's a link to a live video of his song Nagasaki, Hiroshima. It's a song about love gone wrong, the repeating line is 'two burned hearts, Nagasaki, Hiroshima'. Enjoy!
