At the hospice

On Friday afternoons a small group, including Martin from Bethel, go to St. Stephen's hospice to sing Czech folk songs. They provide the music for an hour of readings and song. This week Miro joined their small choir and Isaiah and I came along later to hear them and visit with people who are staying at the hospice.

The hospice is on the edge of town and has a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. People living at the hospice have terminal cancer and are usually there for 3-4 months at the end of their lives. The hospice is in the building that used to be the maternity hospital for Litomerice and surrounding area. It is likely where Miro was born.On the left is the photo of the music hour and below if a photo of the front of the hospice. I assume you recognize Isaiah and I, with us are Martin and Petra.
